Kat Von D Ink Liner in Trooper [Review] by Victoria Huynh on Oct 31, 2016

After hearing so many good things about Kat Von D's Ink Liner for a while now, I finally decided to give it a try. My friends absolutely love this liner and I was hoping I would feel the same. Find out if that was the case in my full review below!

Product description from Sephora:

"An ultra-rich, felt-tipped liquid pen eyeliner for up to 24 hours of instant drama and effortless, bold definition. Flaunt a killer line every time with Ink Liner. The innovative, no-fray marker tip holds the maximum level of formula, giving you bold lines with instant color lay-down and stunning intensity. Remarkably easy to use, the felt tip applicator provides total control for effortless eye lining. Rock your look around the clock with this formula that delivers a fade and run-resistant finish for unstoppable long wear. For effortless drama, put it in ink."

The Kat Von D Ink Liner (0.019 oz / 0.55 mL) is encased in a lightweight plastic pen with a pull-off cap. I love how smooth the pen feels in my hand.

I got the liner in the shade Trooper (ultra black). The felt tip is soft and offers full precision. The ink glides on smoothly and it's the right amount of inky, not too wet nor too dry.

Here are a few strokes of the liner on my hand:

Scent: None.

I love how much precision this eyeliner gives you. Your wings will look sharp and clean! It works great for both thin and thick lines. This eyeliner is indeed waterproof and smudge-proof. It doesn't smear even if I rub my eyes. My only complaint would be that the color doesn't look as pigmented/rich as I personally would like it to be. I still like the overall look of the liner, though!

I love the brush-tip version of this, the Tattoo Liner. I find that it's slightly more pigmented than the ink liner and the bristles are more flexible.
