Smashbox Brow Tech To Go in Brunette [Review + Swatch] by Victoria Huynh on May 15, 2017

If you just finished up using a brow pencil and are in search of an new one, Smashbox's Brow Tech To Go seems like a pretty safe and portable option. Find out what I like about it in my full review!

Product information from Sephora:

"What it is:
A double-ended applicator that has an angled long-wearing waterproof pencil on one side and a soft-hold gel with a brow brush applicator on the other.

What it does:
Get perfectly polished brows on the go! The iconic BROW TECH is now available in a portable, travel-friendly version. The double-ended component includes an angled, long-wearing waterproof pencil for precise filling and defining and a soft-hold gel with a brow brush applicator to groom brows perfectly into place."

The Brow Tech To Go (Gel: 0.1 oz. / 2.9 g, Pencil: 0.007 oz. / 0.2 g) comes in a plastic pen casing with a pull-off cap and twist-to-open brow brush. To dispense the crayon, you twist the pen up. I love how the triangular tip makes it easy to fill in my brows with precision.

In Action

When I first swatched this pencil on my hand, I thought it was going to be too stiff and dry because the color did not apply easily. However, once I tried it on my brows, I was impressed! The shape and size of the tip is perfect for easy filling and precision. It's quick, pigmented, and easy to work with. It doesn't smear easily when rubbed and it definitely has good waterproof staying power throughout the day. The color looks extremely natural and soft, and the gel provides a soft hold for a nice finishing touch. Overall, I have no complaints. I'd recommend giving Brow Tech To Go a go!
